Orbital Map Uplink gives the satellite a useful reconnaissance purpose.

Launching a satellite activates an orbital map uplink, provided the player's team has at least one ground radar on the launch surface. Once active, the uplink refreshes (delay can be set in "Mod Settings") already-explored map areas so the player can view discovered territory more clearly in map view.

The mod does not reveal unexplored terrain. Black, undiscovered areas remain hidden.
