Nauvis Foundation

A Factorio mod that makes Foundation available earlier in the game. Instead of waiting until Aquilo, you can unlock it as early as Nauvis.

Who is this for?

• Wanna pave the world?
• If you don't want to build a starter base on each planet until Aquilo to finally unlock foundations.
• If you don't like to be space constrained on planet bases.
• If you want to freely make a megabase on Fulgora.

What this mod changes

• Technology: Foundation can be unlocked earlier, depending on your chosen planet progression
• Recipe: Ingredients are adjusted to match the unlock planet, producing 10 Foundation per craft
• Stack size: Increased from 50 to 100 (configurable)
• Rocket capacity: Increased from 50 to 1000 (configurable), making it easier to ship large quantities to other planets

Unlock planet setting

Choose which planet's progression unlocks Foundation. Each option changes the required science packs, research cost, and recipe ingredients.

Nauvis (default)

• Science packs: Red, Green, Blue, Purple, Yellow, Space
• Research cost: 1000 packs
• Recipe (→ 10): 20 Refined Concrete, 5 Steel Plate, 2 Low Density Structure

Vulcanus

• Science packs: Nauvis + Metallurgic
• Research cost: 500 packs
• Recipe (→ 10): 4 Tungsten Plate, 10 Refined Concrete, 5 Steel Plate, 2 Low Density Structure

Fulgora

• Science packs: Nauvis + Metallurgic, Electromagnetic
• Research cost: 250 packs
• Recipe (→ 10): 4 Tungsten Plate, 10 Refined Concrete, 20 Stone, 2 Low Density Structure

Gleba

• Science packs: Nauvis + Metallurgic, Electromagnetic, Agricultural
• Research cost: 100 packs
• Recipe (→ 10): 4 Tungsten Plate, 10 Refined Concrete, 20 Stone, 4 Carbon Fiber
