Nanobots: Early Bots Refined


Early automated constrution bots. A special emitter gun fires consumable nanobots to perform construction tasks. Also adds items which add new features to construction bots. Thanks to Nexela for creating the original mod and Regi_Mahler for updating it to 2.0. If you have previously used Nanobots or Nanobots 2.0, I strongly recommend you view the 4.0.0 changelog first.

b Error: attempt to call method count

Hi, I am receiveing the folloing error build my blueprints: nanobots-refined/scripts/nanobots-auto.lua:507: attempt to call method 'count' (a nil value)

The blueprint does not contain any modded items and normal construction bots can build/remove it just fine. I was able to use the mod for a while with other blueprints but now its not working anymore at all for any blueprint, even if its just building or removing a single belt. It just endlessly spams the error message from above. I am running the latest factorio version as of today 2025-07-15 v2.0.60

Edit: reproduced the error, working on a fix

For now, you should be able to work around the error by switching to Manual mode.
