• Fixed: /gamemode spectator now uses set_controller{type=god} (prevents the “controller_type is read only” crash).
• Fixed: Switching back from spectator/creative restores the player character safely (no “No character” errors).
• Fixed: Commands work from server console and can target one player or all players.
• Fixed: Command arguments are structured to be autocomplete-friendly.

My Admin Tool

A small admin utility mod for Factorio 2.0 (compatible with Space Age).
It adds a few high-impact admin commands: gamemodes, give-items, and time control.

Space Age compatibility

This mod is written for Factorio 2.0+ and works with the Space Age expansion enabled.

Features

Gamemodes (admin-only)

• 0 = Survival (normal gameplay)
• 1 = Creative (cheat mode / infinite crafting where applicable)
• 2 = Spectator (god controller / free camera; not editor mode)

Give items (admin-only)

• Give items to yourself, a target player, or all players.

Time control (admin-only)

• Set day/night and optionally force day/night.

How to use

1. Make sure you are a Factorio admin (server admin).
2. Use the commands below.

Commands

Gamemode

• /gamemode <0|1|2>
• /gamemode <0|1|2> <player>

Examples:
- /gamemode 1
- /gamemode 2 PlayerName
- /gamemode 0 3

Give

• /give <item> [count]
• /give <player> <item> [count]
• /give all <item> [count]

Examples:
- /give iron-plate 200
- /give PlayerName steel-chest 50
- /give all repair-pack 20

Time

• /timeset day
• /timeset night
• /timeforce off
• /timeforce day
• /timeforce night

Examples:

Notes

• All commands are admin-only (server console counts as admin).
• Creative mode does not permanently unlock technologies.
• Spectator mode uses god controller (free camera) and restores the character when switching back.
