This is a fairly simple suggestion, though I don't know how difficult it would be to implement:
Would it be possible to let us set different names and colours for different characters? Right now, recolouring one character recolours all of them, and there's no way to rename them at all.
You can already rename them by renaming the map tag.
How would I go about doing that? I don't see any way to do it through the Multiple Characters menu and I don't have any traditional Factorio tags to go along with it.
There should be a map tag for every character (except yourself). Renaming them should rename the character.
Anyway, I uploaded a new version with renaming and recoloring in the GUI.
