More Enemies

Simple idea of just having more enemies, with larger and/or more enemy attack groups. Comes with five preset difficulties: Easy(0.1), Vanilla(1), Vanilla+(1.75), Hard(4), and Insanity(11). Each added setting can be configured independently of the selected difficulty to personal taste. Engineer beware - they come for you.

b [0.7.10 - Fixed] New Game Start Issue (>= 0.7.8)

(updated a month ago)

I get this "Notice" after clicking play on a new game. 2.0.76 (build 84451 exp, win64) (More Enemies 0.7.8) Planet Lignumis Start

more-enemies/scripts/service/attack-group-service.lua:117: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)
stack traceback:
more-enemies/scripts/service/attack-group-service.lua:117: in main chunk

[C]: in function 'require'
more-enemies/scripts/events.lua:176: in main chunk
[C]: in function 'require'
more-enemies/control.lua:66: in main chunk

I removed the mod and it Loads the game. Is there a setting i can change to fix or is it something else.
Also using; Rampant, fixed, ArmouredBiters, Cold_biters, Behemoth-enemies
All other mods might not matter but i can try to get the whole list if needed.

Thanks!

Hello! Apologies for the error, but thanks for the report - appreciate the added details!

Am looking into this presently.

Pretty sure I see/know what the issue is. Assuming I can recreate it, hope to have a fix out as soon as I reasonably can.

So, I haven't been able to recreate the issue, but I definitely recognize why the error is occurring and how I can prevent it.

That said, I'm thinking the reason I haven't been able to recreate it yet (been able to start a new game with Lignumis, and the other listed mods present), is that it's potentially load-order dependent. To that end, would you be kind enough to share your full mod list?

Working on fixing/wrapping up a few other things, but hope to have a fix out today/shortly.

With the release of version 0.7.9, this issue should be fixed.

Do let me know if you have any questions or encounter any further issues.

Thanks again for the report!

I did update to 0.7.9 Did the same thing Slightly Different set of errors, but still looks very familiar.

more-enemies/scripts/service/attack-group-service.lua:482: table index is nil
stack traceback:
more-enemies/scripts/service/attack-group-service.lua:482: in main chunk
[C]: in function 'require'
more-enemies/scripts/controller/spawn-controller.lua:96: in main chunk
[C]: in function 'require'
more-enemies/scripts/events.lua:176: in main chunk
[C]: in function 'require'
more-enemies/control.lua:70: in main chunk

Also, I no longer see any Mod Options for More Enemies after the update.

I cannot paste the whole list here lol, it cuts off around the letter "P"

Apologies for the error, and erroneously assuming the changes I made fixed the root issue. But thank you for bringing it to my attention!

Am looking into it presently.

Just managed to recreate the error locally.

Presently looking into which mod(s) specifically are causing the compatibility issue.

Edit:

Confirmed the compatibility issue occurs when Planetaris: Tellus is present.

Have locally fixed the immediate errors when both are present. Currently testing further.

No guarantee, but hope to have a fix out sometime today.
