More Enemies


Simple idea of just having more enemies, and larger enemy attack groups. Comes with five preset difficulties: Easy(0.1), Vanilla(1), Vanilla+(1.75), Hard(4), and Insanity(11). Each added setting can be configured independently of the selected difficulty to personal taste. Engineer beware - they come for you.

I can't imagine would could be causing it, none of them really mess with entities or entity spawns.
That said the crash doesn't occur when I uninstall armoured biters so its definitely something between these two.

I am at a loss for what's the issue - that is, I've installed all of the mods you listed, with only the addition of more-enemies (tested versions 0.4.0 and 0.5.0), to which I did not encounter any issues; I was able to load up the game and start playing in a new save.

Couple questions for you:

  • Do you experience this error with only more-enemies installed?
  • Do you experience this error with only ArmouredBiters and more-enemies installed?
  • Do you experience this error with only space-age, ArmouredBiters, and more-enemies installed?

If no to all three, then the next steps would be for you to try and enable your other mods one at a time until the issue appears, given that I can't reproduce it on my end.

Just tested, literally ONLY armoured biters and more enemies installed with NO other mods installed at all, with and without space age:

Wild guess, could this possibly have something to do with armoured biters custom nests that can be toggled on and off via startup settings?

That was it!

I've been able to recreate it on my end now - should be a simple fix, hope to have it out soon. Apologies for the issue and not finding it myself.

Yeah no problem, I really like factorio combat logistics and I was a hue fan of they are billions, so any mod that helps emulate that experience is one I'm intrested in.
