1.1 adds a linked-belt and linked-chest prototype that works cross-surface, and since it is C++ and not LUA script, it is way faster and more UPS efficient than the current method. Consider swapping the prototype for the underground shafts to that.
Now thats a darn good point. I will look at tonight, havent played with them yet, so I need to test how they operate, in anycase it could be an startup option.
Just an update nothing yet. It will have to be a startup setting as it wont work with existing saves, may be able to make it work later but likely to break existing saves so not prepared or ready to try working out the fix for that just yet.
May not work with muli level transports as they are also logistic containers
OK so I had a heap of fun but no this won't be going forward, I am not happy with the end results it works but to ugly and actually results in minor ups negative effect for existing saves.
