which splinter contains the combat bots?

None yet. I want that one done too but Unfortunatly i'm re-writing them and because every thing in mm is so intertwined I have to sort of do them in order or whats safe to detangle and do next. That one is on my prioity list. Probably after next one, looking t undergrounds now.

Neat. When I first heard of them after looking into your mod due to a bug report, I wanted to try them, but modmash was too big of a thing for me to do at the time with the other mods I was playing them.
If it's splintered, I'll be able to pick the pieces that don't disrupt my plans and use them.

Thats pretty much why im doing it. Give people options easier to maintain parts and i csn ckean it up along the way
