It's a Factorio limitation. Mods can't modify what placed things can be undone with Ctrl+Z. They have to handle it manually. I don't see Redo adding any integration I could use.
That said, I'll add an undo button in the GUI for the next update.
I love this mod so much but this is the most frustrating part of using it.
With the 2.0 changes to undo / redo is it any different now, is this a feature you could support with Ctrl+Z?
