From the FAQ:
By definition, a loader is something that removes items from an inventory and puts it on a belt, or vice versa. Thus to move items between two inventories, you need two loaders. Miniloaders are 1x1 footprint, but they are still loaders.
My take is that if you need to move things box to box, inserters are great for that and there are many mods for faster inserters. If you like the aesthetic of loaders, you’ll need to make enough room to put down two of them.
