Optional graphics for ME Network: textures of Applied Energistics 2 in place of ME Network's own sprites. The textures are by AlgorithmX2 et al. (and, in today's AE2, Ridanisaurus Rid) under CC BY-NC-SA 3.0, and so is everything in this mod: no commercial use, changed versions under the same license. Install ME Network too; it runs without this mod. This version replaces nothing yet. Source: https://github.com/Rykon00/me-network (folder ae2-textures)
Small changes concerning balance, gameplay, or graphics.
Version: 0.2.5
Date: 2026-11-01
Graphics:
- The ME Logistic Storage Bus (ME Network issues #506, #515, #518) has the look of AE2's storage bus in the world and as an icon, with ME Network's orange corner marks, storage chest and badge over it, so it is still told apart from the ME Storage Bus. AE2 has no logistic storage bus; no new image.
Version: 0.2.4
Date: 2026-10-24
Graphics:
- The mod has a thumbnail on the mod portal and in the game's mod list (ME Network issue #500): the logo of Applied-Energistics-2-Unofficial, the lit ME Controller, scaled to 144 x 144.
Version: 0.2.3
Date: 2026-10-23
Info:
- For Factorio 2.1, as ME Network (ME Network issue #487); version 0.2.2 stays on the mod portal for Factorio 2.0.
Version: 0.2.2
Date: 2026-10-23
Graphics:
- The View Cell, the Creative ME Storage Cell and the Creative Energy Cell (ME Network issues #440, #441, #442, #459) have AE2-Unofficial's pictures: the two cells its item icons, the energy cell its creative energy cell block in the world and as a cube icon (ME Network shows tinted pictures of other items for them).
- The ME Storage, Conversion and Throughput Monitor (ME Network issues #353, #421): AE2-Unofficial's monitor panels like the terminals, dark while their network does not work and with AE2's screen in its Fluix colours while it does; ME Network still draws the resource and its amount on the screen. Their icons are the lit panels. The ME Level Emitter, the toggle buses and the ME Level Maintainer keep ME Network's pictures (AE2 has no front for them), the ME Wireless Link and the ME Circuit Interface too (their only matching pictures are AE2 Stuff's or a coloured interface skin).
- The storage cells above 256k (ME Network issues #414, #447): the 1024k, 4096k and 16384k storage cells, their storage components and the Singularity storage cell have AE2-Unofficial's icons; the 1024k to 16384k fluid storage cells show its item cell of their tier with a blue frame and body, as the smaller fluid cells do. In the ME Drive and the ME Chest they are drawn as the other cells. Their technologies show these icons scaled up.
- The crafting storage above 256k and the crafting accelerators (ME Network issues #415, #447): the 1024k, 4096k, 16384k and Singularity crafting storage and the 4x to 4096x crafting accelerators are AE2-Unofficial's crafting blocks like the smaller ones, a cube each without a CPU and AE2's formed look in a CPU; their icons are AE2 cubes, their technologies' icons too.
- The Crafting Card (ME Network issues #411, #447) has AE2-Unofficial's icon.
- The ME Pattern Terminal Ex (ME Network issues #416, #447): AE2-Unofficial's Pattern Terminal Ex panel like the other terminals, dark while its network does not work and with AE2's screen in its Fluix colours while it does; its icon is the lit panel.
Locale:
- The mod's description no longer calls it optional (ME Network issue #476): ME Network requires this mod since ME Network 0.5.3 and comes with it; it is a mod of its own only because of its license (CC BY-NC-SA 3.0). The description also lists what the mod replaces today.
Version: 0.2.1
Date: 2026-10-15
Graphics:
- The ME Quantum Bridge (ME Network issues #385, #406): AE2-Unofficial's eight quantum rings around its quantum link chamber, as the blocks look before AE2 forms them, in the world; its item and technology icons are the quantum ring. Needs ME Network with the bridge; with an older one nothing changes.
- The ME IO Port (ME Network issues #386, #397): AE2-Unofficial's IO port block, its side with the two cell slots in front, in the world and as a cube icon. Needs ME Network 0.5.4 (the block); with an older one nothing changes.
- The ME Import, Export and Storage Bus icons (ME Network issue #381): this mod replaces only the block of the icon, so ME Network's badge with the bus's direction (into the network, out of it, both ways) stays over the AE2 cube, and the three buses no longer look like the ME Interface in the inventory and the hotbar. Needs ME Network with that badge (0.5.4); with an older one the icons are as before.
- The Void ME Storage Cell and the Void ME Fluid Storage Cell (ME Network issue #364) have AE2-Unofficial's void cell icon (AE2-Unofficial has one void cell for items and fluids, so both show it), and the Group Filter Card has AE2-Unofficial's Ore Dictionary Filter Card icon.
- The Super Speed Card and the Superluminal Speed Card (ME Network issue #356) have AE2-Unofficial's icons.
- The ME Interface Terminal (ME Network issues #336, #343): AE2-Unofficial's interface terminal panel like the other terminals, dark while its network does not work and with AE2's screen in its Fluix colours while it does; its icon is the lit panel.
Version: 0.2.0
Date: 2026-10-11
Info:
- ME Network requires this mod from ME Network 0.5.3 on (ME Network issue #325): the mod portal installs both.
Graphics:
- Storage cells (ME Network issue #247): the item icons of the 1k to 256k storage cells, the storage components 1k to 256k and the storage housing are AE2-Unofficial's. The fluid storage cells (ME Network issue #250), which AE2-Unofficial has no icon for, show its item cell of their tier with a blue frame and body.
- Upgrade cards: the basic, advanced, capacity, overflow destruction, fuzzy, pattern capacity, sticky, inverter, equal distribution and acceleration cards have AE2-Unofficial's icons. The ME Interface Capacity Card (ME Network issues #251, #294), which AE2 does not have, shows AE2-Unofficial's Capacity Card with its capacity sign in orange, so it is not taken for the Pattern Capacity Card (dark sign, turquoise stripe), also without telling colours apart.
- Patterns: the blank and the encoded pattern have AE2-Unofficial's icons.
- Blocks (ME Network issue #260): the ME Drive, ME Chest, ME Interface, ME Molecular Assembler, ME Cell Workbench and ME Charger are AE2-Unofficial's blocks in the world, made from its block faces with depth to the east and south, and their icons are AE2 cubes. The working Molecular Assembler shows AE2's running lights. ME Network's drive and chest lights stay where they are (in AE2's bays and slot); the interface no longer marks its pipe sides.
- The ME Pattern Provider (ME Network issue #269): AE2-Unofficial has no pattern provider block (in GT New Horizons the interface holds the patterns), so it is its purple interface skin, in the world and as a cube icon.
- Cells in the ME Drive and the ME Chest (ME Network issue #264): a cell in a bay is drawn as AE2-Unofficial draws it, a piece of its cell texture (grey for item cells, blue for fluid cells) with ME Network's light as a single AE2 pixel in it, instead of ME Network's coloured bars. Needs ME Network 0.5.3 or later (its drive view); with an older one the bars stay. The cells and lights are hidden behind a character standing in front of the block like the block's picture (ME Network issue #267).
- The ME Controller (ME Network issue #278): four AE2-Unofficial controllers side by side, as a 2 x 2 cluster of controllers looks in AE2, and an AE2 cube as its icon. Dark without power, AE2's running lights while its network works, AE2's red pattern when a second controller makes a conflict. The lights need ME Network 0.5.3 or later (its controller view); with an older one the controller stays dark.
- The ME Terminal and the ME Pattern Terminal (ME Network issue #281): AE2-Unofficial's terminal panels, smaller than a block as in AE2, at the pixel size of the other blocks. Dark while their network does not work, AE2's screen in its Fluix colours while it does; their icons are the lit panels.
- The ME Import, Export and Storage Bus (ME Network issue #282): AE2-Unofficial's bus fronts as blocks, and AE2 cubes as their icons. ME Network's plate on the side a bus faces and its arrows are drawn on the AE2 front, so the direction stays visible (AE2's front shows none). Needs ME Network 0.5.3 or later (its bus view); with an older one the buses look as without this mod.
- The cable (ME Network issue #283): AE2-Unofficial's Fluix glass cable, 4 AE2 pixels thick, its pattern running on from tile to tile; the fluix cable item shows a crossing of it. The ME Underground Cable has no AE2 counterpart and stays ME Network's.
- The blocks of a Crafting CPU (ME Network issue #302): the crafting unit, the co-processing unit, the 1k to 256k crafting storage and the crafting monitor are AE2-Unofficial's blocks: a cube of its own while it is no CPU, and the blocks of a CPU together one big block in AE2's formed look (ME Network issue #306), as AE2 draws a formed CPU: the coloured crosses and the monitor's screen run on from block to block, and AE2's ring frames only the CPU's outside. Their icons are AE2 cubes.
- The wireless group (ME Network issue #303): the ME Wireless Access Point is an AE2-Unofficial cube of its wireless block's inside (AE2's own model is an antenna), with an AE2 cube as its icon; the Wireless ME Terminal, the ME Wireless Booster and the ME Wireless Terminal Module (AE2 has none: the terminal's icon, in the item list and in the armour's grid) have AE2-Unofficial's icons.
- The technology icons (ME Network issue #304): AE2 has none, so each of ME Network's technologies shows an icon of this mod scaled up: ME Network the controller, the storage technologies their cells (the fluid ones the blue fluid cells), ME Upgrade Cards the Capacity Card, ME Autocrafting the encoded pattern, ME Automation the Molecular Assembler, ME Co-Processing the co-processing unit, ME Quantum Crafting the 256k crafting storage, ME Wireless the Wireless ME Terminal.
- The ME Wireless Terminal Module in an armour's grid keeps its picture's size with ME Network's 64 px module sprite (ME Network issue #221).
Version: 0.1.0
Info:
- First version (ME Network issue #239): the optional texture mod of ME Network, under CC BY-NC-SA 3.0, with its license text, attribution and manifest. It replaces no sprite yet: no graphics of Applied Energistics 2 are in it so far. Needs ME Network 0.5.2 or later.
