The Mod
This mod applies Wretlaw120's Beacon Rebalance's changes to the Conduit from notnotmelon's Maraxsis. Notably, it will overload machines that are affected by other beacons or conduits.
Adaptive Recipes, Technologies, and Scaling
Depending on the highest tier of beacon you have enabled from Beacon Rebalance, the recipe, unlocking technology, and power of the conduit will change to slot itself as the most powerful (and most expensive) beacon available.
With Beacon Mk.3 Enabled:
- Advanced Effect Transmission requires Effect Transmission 3, Project Seadragon, and (Optionally) Liquid Atmosphere to be researched.
- Conduits require Beacon Mk.3 and Quantum Processors instead of Beacons and Processing Units respectively to craft. Optionally (and by default) Liquid Atmosphere will be required.
- Conduits have 24 module slots (4 more than Mk.3 beacons) and consume 30MW of power (10MW more than Mk3. beacons)
With only Beacon Mk.2 Enabled:
- Advanced Effect Transmission requires Effect Transmission 2 and Project Seadragon.
- Conduits require Beacon Mk.2 instead of standard beacons to craft.
- Conduits have 20 module slots (same as Mk.3 beacons) and consume 16MW of power (4MW less than Mk.3 beacons)
Without Beacon Mk.2 or Beacon Mk.3 Enabled:
- Advanced Effect Transmission requires the default technologies to research.
- Conduits have their recipe unchanged.
- Conduits have 12 module slots (3 less than Mk.2 beacons) and consume 12MW of power (same as Mk.2 beacons)
