I wish this never needed arrows to instruct the little drone around to transport items.
One should just click ALT+L and pick the transport drone.
Then select the Source and then the Destination. And the drone should just find its way there driving on any ground.
Then have a Button in the hotbar, that is used to recall ALL drones to you, and they automatically jump into your inventory.
In case major swarms of biters come around , the biters won't attack. As you can recall them all to you.
Or assign specific ones to be recalled as well. But imho they should never need special roads to operate them.

Yes I am aware of that mod. It also depends on roads to properly work, instead of freely operating. :)
