Please add a new type of splitter that acts like a T-junction, allowing one input to split into two outputs — one going straight and one turning to the side — while occupying only a single tile. This would be different from the current vanilla splitter, which takes up two tiles and only goes straight without turning.

And even better, if it could be merged with the current splitter you’ve already implemented in this, that would be fk awesome!

transport belts are very hard to modify, the closest you'll probably get is an invisible inserter placed in in between.

Use loaders for that. One lane feeds a chest, loaders on other 3 sides acting as a T Junction, the contents of the chest will be spread between them
