I'm a bit concerned about UPS. There used to be a number of Belt Balancer and Lange Balancer mods back in the day, but those moved items via Lua, which tanked performance very quickly. From what I can see, though, the "lane-splitter" you're referencing in the mod (LaneSplitterPrototype) is actually native - is part of Factorio's internal code. Does that mean it's not going to tank UPS with widespread use?
