i [Feedback/Implemented] Remove Terra Palus from the list

I have been to over a dozen planets in this mod, and this is the first time I have found a planet that is so underbaked and unbalanced that I have to strongly recommend just removing it from this mod.

I understand the appeal of just throwing as much content at the player as possible, but if anyone has played on this planet, they would instantly know it is pointless.

1) There is virtually no new tech/science. The tech tree is just the ability to process the ore, which does almost nothing new.
2) The new items added are basically impossible to craft. One is a UV turret that costs 300k of the new ore to craft, which is extremely rare on the planet, but the other item is a UV lamp that seems useless and costs 3,125,000 ore to craft PER LAMP.
3) It is the hardest planet by far that I have landed on in terms of enemies, and it has no reward.
4) The planet was released and never updated. There is no chance that this will become good someday.
5) If a player gets baited by going to this planet and explores the area to find several million ore to craft a single lamp, then they are using up valuable memory for the rest of the game.

Please, just remove this from the list. It isn't even close to the quality needed to be playable.

Great work on the rest of the mod. Everything else has been great so far.

While this modpack is not intended to be perfectly playable or player-friendly (since its primary purpose is for compatibility testing, with playability as an afterthought), it does make sense to prune some of the older planet mods that haven't received any real content updates in several months, and other planets have been made optional for similar reasons.

I'll admit that Terra Palus was basically grandfathered in as one of the few new planet/moon mods in the early days of Space Age. If you do find any other planet mods in the pack that you feel are similarly lacking in quality, be sure to mention them here.

Terra Palus made optional as of v1.0.22

I am honestly surprised you did such a good job at merging so many planets together, especially when this is primarily for testing purposes. It is obvious how much work was put into this mod.

I was going to say that Janus is probably the second weakest planet, but I see it suddenly became incompatiable with Cerys. It was honestly not bad for how barebones it was, the planet's solution was pretty unique and the tech was interesting enough to keep me engaged.

I will probably post my thoughts after I complete the mod in another couple hundred of hours, I haven't really encountred any planet besides Terra that I felt needed to be removed.

While I appreciate the sentiment, I haven't really done anything aside from collecting all of the planet mods I could find into one pack, with only one minor cosmetic compatibility patch between them (and of course, the descriptions for each on the information page).

The planet mod authors themselves deserve most of the credit for making sure they don't conflict with each other. I suppose they might use this modpack as part of their compatibility testing, but I do believe this is something that anyone could have made, I just happened to be the first, and most dedicated.

Janus was definitely an interesting planet with its unique looping spoilage mechanic, a shame that it had to be made optional, but it appears to have been abandoned by its original mod author, as some part of its old code conflicts with something that Cerys needs to function in the latest update.

For the most part, the bar for entry is pretty low for this particular modpack; it just needs to add a new planet or space location, add some meaningful reward (a reason to visit and complete), and not conflict with the other planets.
