Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention.
You are absolutely right about the issue you’ve pointed out. When creating my mod, I made a serious oversight by not carefully checking the licenses of the assets I used. I mistakenly used assets from another mod that is under a “Limited Distribution Only Licence”.
This created a significant licensing conflict, as the “Limited Distribution Only” licence is fundamentally incompatible with the MIT licence under which I published my mod. This was a serious mistake, and I sincerely apologize for it.
I am taking immediate action to rectify this situation:
Deprecate the Mod: I will immediately mark the mod as deprecated and remove all public download links to prevent any further distribution.
Clean Up the Resources: I will completely remove all assets from that licence from the mod’s files. I will also conduct a full review of the project to ensure no other similar issues exist.
Thank you again for pointing this out. This has been a very important lesson for me. I will be much more diligent about respecting intellectual property and licensing agreements in the future, honoring the hard work of every creator.
I once again apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you and the community.
