Items Network

Digital storage of items with support for logical signals, input/output of items and liquids, distribution of items from the network to assemblers, furnaces, laboratories, and output of results back to the storage; the number of items produced can be controlled through logical signals; the network terminal issues signals for all contents

g Terminal inventory display

Problem:
The Network Terminal does not show all items in the network unless it is also connected to a power pole via copper wire.

Steps to reproduce:

Place Network Server and connect it to a Terminal using Network Cables (no power connection).

Add some items into the network (e.g. via chest + connector).

Open Terminal GUI → only some items are shown.

Connect the same Terminal to a power pole with copper wire.

Open Terminal again → now all items appear correctly.

Expected behavior:
Terminal should show full network inventory as long as it is connected via Network Cables, without needing a power grid connection.

Question: Is this intended behavior or a bug?

Issue 2 – Production Combinator doesn't limit production
Problem:
The Production Combinator seems unable to limit item production. Machines keep crafting indefinitely, even after the set limit is reached.

Setup:

Production Combinator connected to an Assembling Machine (tried both circuit wire and direct network connection)

Set a target item and a maximum amount in the combinator

Expected behavior:
Machine stops when network stock reaches the limit, and resumes when stock falls below.

Actual behavior:
Machine crafts non-stop, as if the combinator signal is ignored.

Additional info:

I'm using many other mods, so this might be a mod conflict

However, I briefly tested with only Items Network enabled and the issue still appeared (maybe I misconfigured something?)

Request:
Could someone explain the correct wiring / setup for the Production Combinator? A simple screenshot or example would help a lot.

Also, if this is a known mod conflict, please let me know which mod causes it.

Issue 3 – Cannot input coal into burner machines
Problem:
Burner machines (e.g. Boiler, Burner Mining Drill) do not receive coal from the network automatically.

Setup:

Boiler / Burner Mining Drill connected to the network via Connector

Coal is present in the network (confirmed via Terminal)

Actual behavior:
The burner machines' fuel slots remain empty. They do not pull coal from the network, even though they are connected.

Expected behavior:
Burner machines should automatically pull fuel (coal, wood, etc.) from the network, similar to how assemblers pull ingredients.

Question:
Is this a known limitation? Or am I missing something in the setup?

Issue 4 – Terminal does not show connected burner machines
Problem:
When burner machines (Boiler, Burner Mining Drill) are connected to the network, they do not appear in the Terminal interface.

Steps to reproduce:

Place a Boiler or Burner Mining Drill

Connect it to the network via Connector + Network Cable

Open the Network Terminal

Actual behavior:
The Terminal does not list these machines anywhere. There is no indication that they are connected.

Expected behavior:
The Terminal should show all connected entities (or at least indicate that the machine is part of the network).

Question:
Is this by design? Or should connected machines always appear in the Terminal?

hello, the first problem is most likely due to the fact that the network consumes electricity for its operation, and without electricity it does not perform operations, the server has a hidden consumer, connect the server to electricity, or disable energy use in the settings

hi, in the description of the mod there is a use of a production combinator, it is needed for dynamic installation of recipes, and broadcasts a signal if there are not enough items in the network

boilers are not supported, supported entities are turrets with ammunition, assembly machines, furnaces, laboratories, asteroid collector

therefore, if a particular entity is not supported, it is not in the terminal

Hello, I noticed this on Gleba; it correctly places the elements in the biological chambers, but not the nutrients necessary for the operation.

I simply installed a buffer tank connected to the network next to it, and it's drawing from it with an arm's length.

you need to select nutrients from the fuel list in the terminal

Thank you so much, yet another thing I hadn't noticed, apparently... Great mod, congratulations on all your work and excellent responsiveness.
Thank you.
