Ion Thruster

by plexpt

The Ion Thruster is a revolutionary space propulsion technology that utilizes electric fields to accelerate ions, generating thrust. Compared to traditional chemical rockets, they provide higher specific impulse, meaning less fuel consumption and greater range.

Hello, This is a great mod, i miss the Thrusters from space exploration, and you made a somewhat simular one.

i suggest to show how much power they requireto operate and how much will they use when running, that would be a great help for us

maybe to enable connection of wires to control the thrust
maybe to add some kind of fluid control to it, (a different recipe,or maybe a building for the xenon)

maybe if possible: the thrusters from space exploration (i mean the model) could be used?

otherswise keep up with the work, this mod is great!

The space exploration model has its own license agreement, and we cannot use it arbitrarily.

Currently, I cannot control the thrust. There is no good API to control it. I am looking for help.

If you are interested in using it, Space Exploration graphics mods are updated to 2.0 now, and their license permits using the graphics by adding a dependency to a graphics mod.
