Adds up to 3 new star systems to help organize planet mods and add an extra layer of depth to space logistics requiring interstellar travel between the systems.

g [FIXED] Dea Dia warning

(updated 3 months ago)

Hey!

I'm going to warn you early, prepare that Dea Dia will have NO intended way to pass through via space platform. This is explicitly done to use it as a wall between the dlc system and whatever is sitting behind it. Sciences can still pass through freely.

This is exactly what you'll want to do when the next release comes out, not being able to freely import from the base system creates a different logistical challenge.

Dea Dia was designed while I was practicing to do exactly what you're doing here so hopefully it can be more at home when I'm ready. :)
I'd recommed using rj's planets specifically to fill out materials that would not be present in that system, basically as mining worlds.

I'd also prefer that you'd NOT dismember the system, the lighting conditions on the moons are being set up to use the blue light of the star, and the pink light reflected from the gas giant.
I have the flags for redrawn space connections on everything for a good reason.

The star is also getting a new graphic that will NOT work with what you're trying to do with it.

I also plan on having secretas compat, so I'd recommend putting that system as far away as possible from me in this scenario. I'm gonna be happy if someone has to lug my materials and machinery through the void of space.

I am not entirely sure what you are trying to say here. I did not do anything with the Dea Dia system except move it so it is in the center point between the 3 core systems. That way you can go to it right getting space science for any of them. I did technically move the Stargate for Metal and Stars right next to it as well, but that is for the same reason. Metal and Star and Dea Dia are both self-contained systems, so I did not want to change them. Just move them so they are not Nauvis centric since the other two core systems are Nauvis-alternative systems. That way players can still do either of the self-contained system mods whenever they wanted to.

If you are saying that in a future update you cannot use the Dea Dia System Edge Space Location for platforms? I guess I can move the system off to the side like I did Metal and Stars, but it just was small enough to fix perfect in between the 4 systems, which is why I thought it was perfect there.

I saw the star in between the gas giant and it's moons, but I guess that is just coming from moving the star without adjusting anything else. :/ That will be fixed on my side now by increasing the distances a little.

I'm designing it to fit between 2 systems (the base and something else behind it), that is how it should be used later. Make importing through it a little more difficult, so you can't just fetch everything from the base system. Make it take a bit more effort. I'm already preparing at least one way to take off with a platform on the other side, landing into the system will be done without a platform.
Make you build a second science setup behind it (no need to transport that much science back to base), be more inclined to use a local resource instead of bringing things in from elsewhere etc.

I just move the star to the center and then redo the placements of the planets, so they get moved. That is because PlanetsLib dynamically calculates the orbit based on the parent.

AH. I see what happened. I made an assumption that all of the planets orbited the star. It looks like the planets orbit the gas giant. Yeah, I will fix that.

EDIT: Fixed in 1.0.4
