Basically extended descriptions lite - the only thing i want from that mod is inserter throughput. Is it possible to update the descriptions as inserter capacity bonus changes?
No. Descriptions are static and can't be changed at runtime. So no such things as capacity, belt speed, pickup/drop vectors can be accounted for. You can already see how outrageously long the inserter description is in the mod you linked and it's barely scratching the surface.
