Hello, i ran a test with X drills equipped with level 3 modules of "Quantum" quality. I let the extraction run for 30 seconds, and the result is surprising. I got 300% to 400% more Goldy quality than Infernal. I'm using the mod's default settings. Strange, isn't it?

FYI: The mod is in Old Style. You can clearly see a decreasing exponential curve forming — except for the rarest quality, "Goldy".

I made some more fixes, try version 1.0.8

That's much better, I let it run for 5 minutes. I still feel like the probability for the "Goldy" quality is a bit too high (quality 8/9 = quality 9/9 over 5 minutes). Thanks for the responsiveness and the great work! Ideally, it would be nice to manage the rarity level between each quality (or at least for the final one), but I totally understand that it must be a real hassle. I'm having trouble understanding a setting you just added: "Gradual increase in the effect of the default multiplier"?

The chance is now like in vanilla, i.e. 10% and gradually decreases. This can be set in the settings and if it is too much, then change 0.1 to, say, 0.05 (5%) but it will affect all chances.

All new "Gradual ..." settings are more advanced. It is a multiplier that is added to each next quality. So each higher quality will be better and the difference between the previous one will be more noticeable.
Specifically, the "default multiplier" is a general multiplier for which there is no custom setting. So it will multiply, for example, lives, damage. But not, for example, crafting speed, because there is a custom setting for that.
