not really but with the newest update of your mod and the latest experimental of factorio, everything that is sand is a resource meaning no other ores spawn in deserts or sandy areas. we are talking entire biomes.

ps. i wanted to say i really like this mod. it takes the base idea of the game and makes it more imminent and gives it a sense that it matters. thank you for making the mod.

Didn't make it, just updated it to the latest version.

As for sand - yeah, it's a problem. Looking into changing how the sand miners work so it doesn't need to flood the entire surface with the sand resource.

Try the seed 999 for this. But yeah, it needs fixed/changed
