When I use this mod, it set the limit to a full chest for a lot of the modded item. Strangely enough, this limit is accurate (so it seems to take into account the stack size of the item). Like for exemple, item limit at 2400 for an item that stack usually at 50 (random exemple, one of the pipe added by better fluid handling).
Since this mod actually detects the size of the modded item, is there a solution to make it works also with the modded item?

If you set a limit on the old chest, it is honored., even though the new chest has no limit. The inserter will stop when that number is present, but robots will still deposit more when necessary.

The old chest had no limit (just a red logistic chest, nothing also on the inserter). That's why I don't understand. For some item, it provide a meaningful limit, but for other, the limit is just a full chest.
I speak here about the number imputed in the inserter. I know that it doesn't mean I will not have more inside
