Hey there! I love the mod but it's sadly not calculating the braking distance correctly for my heavily modded game, though, not too many mods should affect the trains... I have full Bob and Angels, Momo 30 science packs with Momo Tweak, full MadClowns with BobAngel extended... and possibly some other "material/ore" related mods? :D
I have full Bob and Angel, with Bob logistics and vehicle equipment being the only ones that affect the trains. So maybe there is something with all the extra Momo and MadClown's materials that affects the calculations of the braking distance? Anyhow... full trains start breaking too late and comes to an abrupt stop at the train station, not by a huge amount, but almost like vanilla. However, with no cargo, the trains come to a beauuutiful slow stop! No breaking research or anything like that yet.
