Could the heat wall look the same as the vanilla wall?
The icon is ok, but the representation and construction differs greatly from the vanilla game.
(Perhaps a slightly orange color would be possible to distinguish it from the vanilla wall - a similar glowing representation to the heat conduction?)

The Heat Tower is great for early defense. If you uninstall the turrets, their ammunition could also be deleted.
I'm curious to hear your opinion.

ok so make the walls the vanilla walls but add a heat glow to them to represent the fact that they are heating up and add in a orange or orange-red tint to them. so then i should make the turret ammo and the heat pistol ammo differ and call if not heat turret then remove kinda like the csp fuel which was a work around. i need to have some one help me with the wall sprites yeah i know sorry about that. so this being said yeah i could call the vanilla walls and alter the tint and offer a glow to them. also should i make a mk 2 version of the turret and pistol?
i am also working on the animation for the heat engine itself just give me some time

It would be great if it worked.
At one point I'm in the endgame. The current heat towers only have a few options left. Especially against big bugs they no longer stand a chance (I had to add the Mod Shock Turrents). A MK 2 version would have to be exchanged with robots (currently heat towers do not generate ammunition for me if they are built with construction robots).
It's just great how the mod continues to develop.
My new save is a marathon death world and so far it's going great thanks to your mod - kinda cool!

ok try this out once uploaded the bots should place and the turrets should be fine now also i changed the color of the walls and reduced the amount of heat they need to operate

Thank you for the new look of the walls - so much better (development leap).
Maybe too bright orange, but that's a matter of taste.
Only 50% of the color intensity or even less might fit better in Factorio.

Could the walls also be charged with heat, like the towers?
Is that even feasible and possible for performance reasons?

The towers return ammo when dismantled and put a strain on the inventory.

The heat assemblers 1 and 2 return normal assemblers instead of the heat version when dismantled.

I'm trying to make a new save with your heat assemblers as much as possible.
It's fun.
Heat towers at the same time as the normal turrents (earlier) might be cooler - what do you think?

well the walls do leach heat they deal aoe damage when enemies are near by i can adjust the orange down a bit i did make a fix for the assemblers so they return only the heat versions i have also now made a heat lab that is on par with the normal lab. i just figured the issue with ammo clutter so that should be resolved and let me know what you think of the mk2 turrets
