With space age, Mk 3 Modules are locked behind other planets. This makes the god modules effectively end-game content, even though the research can be done on nauvius.

I want to suggest an easy mode where each god module is made out of Mk2 modules instead (and change the research too) This way for space age, the modules can be made as soon as you can research for them.

I added a settings for it in 0.2.9 for you.
