Failed to load mods: Error in assignID: item with name 'quality-module-3' does not exist.

Don't have the dlc yet and I get this after updating the mod. Mind adding it as a dependancy so it's known to be needed?

I pushed 0.2.3 and removed the the other 0.2.# versions, that should hopefully prevent it from updating for you.

Would it be to much an ask to get a version that doesn't require it?

Unsure what you mean, shouldn't you be getting version 0.1.1 instead now? Since quality is a dependency on 0.2.#?

I have updated to factorio 2.0 but do not currently have the dlc that gives me quality. I hit update on my mods and you deleted the previous 2.0 verions before I could download the one I had that didn't require the dlc.

Aw balls, I messed up then. I'll tried uploading 0.2.0 again. Does it let you download it now?

so, i can download the mod but can't activate it, it's on version 0.2.3 and needs quality as dependency, i don't have the dlc so what do i do?

Go to the downloads and backtrack it to v0.2.0 aka manual install it.

Download the zip into:
Windows = %appdata%/Factorio/mods
Linux = $HOME/.Factorio/mods

Just want to check in, does it allow you to update to 0.2.4 and does it still work for you?

It seems to be working but I'll have to put off full test for about another 2-4 hours.
