Just wanted to say thanks for this mod, it seriously revolutionizes things. We usually play with K2 but never bother with equipment grids in trains because it's way too tedious to identify and catch all the trains by the time we can actually mass-produce the equipment for them (and we could never get Equipment Gantry to consistently work anyway). Hope the mod can gain some popularity, but in any case we'll be incorporating it into our fuel stop blueprints for our games.
