EDIT: Just in case, I've decided to stop at 100 backer fish so that I'm not chained down to adding more people in perpetually. I think we're at around 30 now as of April 20, 2025 (not everyone who has a backer fish is from this thread).

Not existing games no, and yes eventually it will be littered (though there is a minimum spawn distance). If it becomes too much we can always have them spawn further out.

Only suggestion would be to make underground pipes an even later research than currently to follow the theme of restrictive (and silly) designs expanding to unrestrictive.

That sure was a !!fun!! mod to beat. Regarding ^^, I actually for some reason didn't realize underground pipes were useful (thought they were the same behavior as regular pipes and that was the bit) until very late in the game, so my fluid setups were all spaghetti, oops.

Had to stop watching DocJade's video after about 5 minutes to enjoy this blind, it was worth it. (I also found his shadow fish - very cool!)
I really enjoyed the Physical Plant and the Explosives, not so much the RCU2.0...
If I have one criticism it's that, after I discovered that I could place Off-Shore Assemblers on Concrete, the base became pretty normal, at least until I got to the nightmare that is yellow science.
And now I can finally watch the video.

i wone, now im going to finish getting the last fish sacrafice. kept my friend alive the whole time
i do have 4 complaints.
first: the resurch to compleet all resurches nearly crashed my game.
second: ther was no resurch that had more than 1 of a pack per cycle, and there should have been at least 1 so that players attempts to ratio were wrong
third: there was nothing that needed more than 1 green science at once
4th: i was fully expecting there would be a point where i would need to set up the 1st labs again for a resurch lab 2 cant do in order to progress, and was disapointed when it never happened

Thank you for this absolutely wonderful mod.
Saw a youtube video, stopped just a little ways in to try it myself. Oh boy am I glad I did. So many perfect moments where you expect something to work one way, and it just doesn't in some new and unexpected way. Among all of the jokes, there were some gems of design hidden there as well. I particularly liked the offshore assemblers. It got me to effectively build two different base halves connected by trains, which was neat. (yeah didn't really need to do that later, but I kept going with it anyways.) Took just under 26 hours. em

it would be interesting to see a space age spin of this mod pack at some point, but considering how much space age adds, i doubt we would see it any time soon.
some dumb ideas for it could be:
on aquilo inserters could get a runny nose from the cold temperature and spawn in a booger.
an encounter with Darth cheeseman in space.
instead of a sea of oil on fulgora, it's fanta (a light nod to an ending to a specific movie).
Started it as monthly map, due to giving up and starting again and general procrastination, only finished next month. Despite watching at least 2, maybe 3 people complete it, therefore spoiling myself a little and ofc finding out the op secret from discord, I finished!

Side note, I originally thought that killing landfish is insanely irritating without speed up mod, but uranium ammo with most PHY DMG let me kill it pretty fast, just takes around 1.5 stacks of uranium ammo or something.
Also, I ended up not researching some stuff bc I wanted more challenge, but was disappointed that I cannot just not research the cat, since Cheeseman is invincible at the end >:(
It's possible to not research the cat actually. You just have to put the rocket silo so far away that cheeseman doesn't reach it before the rocket finishes. Also yes that's an awful solution but tEcHnIcAlLy you can do it. :P
