Buckshot grenade is accessible upon researching Military 2, made from a grenade and shotgun shells. A quick way to destroy something on a direct hit, but the small buckshot pellets makes for a pitiful kill zone.

Frag grenade is accessible on Military 3. A purpose-built fragmentation grenade that is both cheap and deadly.

Frag bomb is accessible on Military 4. A large pack of explosives in a solid copper and steel shell, perfect for raining on the biter's parade. A poor man's nuke, this bomb will shred your enemies, regardless whether they're animals or plants. It might as well shred your base too, so make sure you hide behind multiple walls before you throw this one! Fortunately, you wired some of the explosive to burn slower, enabling you to slowly float this bomb towards your target.
