I tried out your spiral preset today and it is almost impossible to find a seed that has all four major resources (iron, copper, coal and stone) somewhere in the beginning. I ended up upping the frequency a bit, but that mostly increased the frequency of the "full ore" patches rather than providing the necessary ores in the middle patches.
Please change the generation in a way so that the four resources get a small patch in the first ten chunks more consistently.
