I discovered, tested, and confirmed a bug with Space Exploration.
Using the Navigation Satellite Uplink to disable or enable any side of a pipe will effectively duplicate it as it creates an itemized version of it on the ground somewhere nearby (usually directly next to it).
I noticed this with Steel Pipes from Krastorio 2, and tested if it would happen outside of the Navigation Satellite Uplink with Space Pipes from Space Exploration (by placing a Space Pipe in orbit and modifying it outside of the uplink, and then using the uplink. Ouside of the uplink it worked as expected, using the uplink created the duplicate Space Pipe item).
As a heads up, while i have "many" mods, the only ones directly affecting pipes are: Space Pipes: Space Exploration - Flow Configuration - Combat Mechanics Overhaul - Extended Descriptions; and Steel Pipes: Krastorio 2 - Flow Configuration - Combat Mechanics Overhaul - Space Exploration - Extended Descriptions. I got this information directly from the panel under the minimap.
