Are there any actual problems with running flow control and this or did you just mark it incompatible bc of perceived redundancy. flow control has valves which are really useful so I'd like to be able to use both this for the pipe connections and flow control for the valves

Hi! You're right I should remove the incompatibility after testing it, I'll get that fix in shortly. As an aside, there is a mod that only implements the valves from Flow Control: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/Flow_Control_Valves_Only
I haven't tested it myself so I can report back later, but hopefully that works well for you! :)

Fixed in 1.0.2! I looked at the mod and realized that it depends on Flow Control anyway, so removed that incompatibility entirely, plus added an optional dependency for the valves-only helper mod! Tested and it worked for me in a quick test, let me know if you have more issues yourself!
