Fishblock aims to be a fun alternate take on the *block formula, offering a remixed version of familiar vanilla gameplay while making minimal additions to the game.

This mod doesn't rely on introducing new structures, ores, or other entities. Instead, resources to expand your factory can be generated through a set of new recipes that allow fish to be processed into raw materials, and crafted items to be turned back into fish for profit. Existing recipes are procedurally modified to have one or more of their regular ingredients replaced with an appropriate number of fish.

One of my goals creating this was to to have something that can give a bit of variety to each playthrough without running the risk of making it feel too chaotic and unfamiliar. Since recipes are randomized in a way that maintains the original ingredients (and generally simplifies rather than complexifies), you can enjoy some of the variation and freshness you'd want from a randomizer without having to relearn everything you know from the base game.

The seed used to generate recipes can be changed in the mod settings.
