Is there a way to suppress the framework.log file from being created / appended to? I do not have the debug setting checked. Same question for the diode combinator redux and the miniloader redux mods. They're nice mods, btw.

I updated all the mods that use framework a while back and they should no longer write a framework.log file but to the factorio-current.log. In non-debug mode, the mods should record their startup (which is three lines) and then be silent.

What version did you test?

Ah, I see. I run the stable version of Factorio (2.0.77), so I didn't upgrade to your more recent version of Fiber Optics once the base dependency changed to 2.1.7. So I am still running v2.1.1 of Fiber Optics, and I didn't realize you already modified framework logging in the more recent versions. No worries. I just commented out the log and logf functions within the Framework object as a quick and dirty hack to suppress those log files. Sorry to have bothered you with something you already addressed. BTW, I love the comment telling people who take issue with AI that they're free not to install it. I'm amazed when people complain about AI-generated stuff that's free. My feeling is if someone doesn't want AI stuff, then they should just move on, but don't give me a bunch of grief about it.
