While I'm waiting for fCPU to catch up to 2.0, I'm prefiltering with a Selector Combinator quality filter. At the moment, I'm only working on a single quality at a time, but you could also have one Selector Combinator for each quality level and use an enable/disable signal to work on any particular one (or one on each color even).
