Is there any chance we could get a customizable item pickup range, such as from the ground only? The only thing this mod is missing from the original.

I think it would make sense to set the default pickup bonus to zero, after updating the mod i was really confused why character was picking up from a huge radius suddenly and it really messes with a lot of things. Be it picking up specific things you dropped, items from a bus etc, such a huge pickup radius would be a bother more often than useful.

Oof I did not consider that it also affects pickup from belts. That can be really surprising indeed, I'll set the default to zero then.

Edit: And also for the feature. As luck would have it it'll be really useful for me the next time I play :)

Changing it to zero, defaults it to 15. I like the idea but picking everything up off belts within 15 tiles is kind of a nuisance.
