You can still handcraft. For some reason, my character did not enter the space plaform, it just remains locked, hidden under it. If I press enter the engineer will go in and never get out and only then it's when I can't handcraft anymore
You were right! This was a bug on 2.0 only (I played mainly on 2.1). Should be fixed now.
