g Suggestion - Madclown's Compatibility

(updated 12 days ago)

This one's just a suggestion, not a bug, so not as important.
It would be cool if we also had access to the infinite ore versions of Madclown's Etended AngelBob Minerals.

Specifically, the ores that the mod adds that are wholly unavailable when playing this mod are

  • Adamantite
  • Antitate
  • Pro-Galena
  • Orichalcite
  • Phosphorite
  • Sanguinate
  • Elionagate
  • Meta-Garnierite
  • Nova-Leucoxene
  • Alluvial Deposit
  • Oil Sands

To be clear, there is no crash. This is simply a suggestion for more compatibility with another mod that plays nice with angelbob.

Hey Intrebute,
I'll look into it. Might be a few days before an update is pushed though, sometimes new compatibilities are fussy.

No worries! Just to let you know, in case you're not familiar with madclown's, all the ores it adds are findable in the world just like all the angel's ones, so at least balance-wise it's identical to how we can scavenge for infinite angel ore patches.

Thanks for looking into it!

That wasn't too bad, I've uploaded a new version of the mod that's compatible with the resource set you posted from MadClown's.
I did see some other resources while looking around MadClowns, but they seemed to be for compatibility with other mods so I didn't include them.

I'm pretty sure you can continue any existing Tight Spaces save file and the new prospecting recipes will just be available after you update.

Oh snap that was fast. Thank you so much. I pulled the list directly from creating a new save, and looking at which of the ore generation options were adjustable in worldgen before starting.

Which is why I was confident the list was exhaustive of "things you can find in world, and thus should be available for foraging". Thank you very much for implementing this :D
