g Gameplay balance

Has anyone tested gameplay balance with this mod? I am interested in whether it is difficult enough for an experienced player (2000+ hours)? Or just study technology, and make dry land for new workshops.
Judging by the fact that each technology gives exactly 500 Landfill, no one was puzzled by the balance.

Hi Eagle,
I've got ~1600 hours and I've played this mod to completion on Vanilla, Krastorio2, and AngelBobs. The 3 factory pictures in the gallery are my bases from those playthroughs.

For difficulty, I found it moderately challenging to build a high throughput factory with the space constraints. Traditional busses use a lot of space, so I used novel layouts before I got to bots.

If you'd like it harder there's a mod setting to change how much landfill you get on each research, so you could set that to 0.75 or 0.5 for a tougher run.

Maybe there is a letsplay of passing with this mod?
I can't fully understand what the gameplay will be like: will you have to wait a long time for technologies to be studied because of small workshops, or will you need to constantly rebuild workshops to accumulate resources in turn? Or both?

During my playthroughs I did not have to wait a long time for resources/technology or constantly tear down and rebuild my factory to switch what items were made. Most of my time spent playing this mod I was actively thinking about what items to build next and how to layout my factory to efficiently use my space.

There's 3 researches for more landfill at each science tier and they give you more landfill for each tier you reach (500 for red, 1000 for green, 1500 for military, etc.) so as the science recipes get more expensive you get more landfill to make them. I found this makes the game hardest around blue science (Complex recipes, no bots/beacons) and then hard again in the end game when trying to maximize SPM for infinite researches.

Sounds good. Next time I'll try to go through this scenario.
Thanks for the answers. )
