Factorio does a great job of abstracting the creation of your items at a high level. You see a peek into the manufacturing process of how your ores are refined, your circuits are printed, and how your gears are cast. However, the real world has a much more nuanced and complicated refining and assembly line.

This mod aims to document the real life parallels of realistic manufacturing processes. It explains how iron ore is mined from the ground, refined through multiple processes, and eventually cast into sheets of metal. It's aim is to help the player understand the complicated and almost limitless steps and processes that occur during manufacturing.
