Adds the normal Engine Unit recipe to Foundries, and normal Electric Engine Unit recipe to Electromagnetic Plants, because it's confusing why this isn't how it works in vanilla Space Age. Does literally nothing else. No direct casting from metal, no extra recipes, just this.
Do note that the +50% productivity and +275%/+75% crafting speed doesn't really reduce the incredibly skewed recipe ratio on its own. You're still going to need to invest in a higher quality fully moduled and beaconed setup to truly see the gains.
If you have a planet mod with a unique building listing these intermediates as recipes, this mod is wholly redundant.
If you have a mod that adds infinite productivity research to these intermediates, this mod isn't super necessary in the long run, but can still help with mid-game quality of life.
