Since the items are type lamp, they will not consume (much) electricity at day. You may want to use "electric-energy-interface" instead. I use them in my mod for capacitor drain, like:

Also, love the idea of this mod, really looking forward to only having to power one piece of a belt!

Funny, I just realized this as well. I'll change them to the interface instead (Since the interface also allows editing energy drain and such at runtime)

This is now fixed in version 0.14.3
