Hello, 0n0w1c
I'm a beginner and wanted to try out this transformer mod.
I started a new game with "Power Overload" mod.
While generating power, a small power pole with a maximum power consumption of 10MW was destroyed, preventing the generator from working. So, I changed the maximum power consumption of the small pole to an appropriate value (e.g., 50MW) in the "Power Overload" mod's starting settings and restarted.
This time, I ran into a problem with the transformer in "Power Overload" mod.
Because of this mod's settings, the small and medium poles weren't connected to the transformer.
The transformers provided in this mod work fine, but I wanted to use all the entities from other mods.
Could you add an option to change the supply area of the medium pole and connect it to a transformer in another mod?
Of course, making it compatible with "Power Overload" mod would solve all my requests, but I apologize for the complicated and difficult request. XD
I used a translator because my English is not good. I hope you understand even if my English is awkward. Thank you!

Thank you for your interest in Electric Grid.
With the default startup settings, this mod makes significant changes to electric poles.
Maybe consider enabling the startup setting: "Disable electric network overhaul". Click the checkbox to change the default setting.
This mod will then supply the Transformator only. The electric poles will remain as Power Overload intended.

Thank you for your reply, 0n0w1c!
I read what you said and understand what you mean.
But I really like your wiring rules and the pole modifications.
Could you perhaps add compatibility with transformers, at least for the "Power Overload" mode, so that poles can be connected?
I'd really like to try out your wiring rules and other modifications.
If that doesn't work, I'll have to give up and play the way you suggested.
Thank you!

Ah! Now I understand. I am working on it now.

Version 1.16.3 has been uploaded.
This version adds wiring rules to permit the Power Overload transformer to connect to medium, big, and huge electric poles, and all fuses.

Wow!!!!
Thank you so much. I actually asked for this, but I didn't expect you to fix it so quickly. I really appreciate it XD
I'm playing the game right now and can't wait to try it out.
It's so much fun to play around with the new wiring rules and split the power grid!
Thank you 0n0w1c!

Hello, 0n0w1c.
I'm having a lot of fun with the modified version.
However, when I try to use the large pole in the "Large Electric Pole" mode, which is supported by the "Power Overload" mode, the wires won't connect.
Not only will the large pole not connect to any transformers in this mode or in "Power Overload," but the large poles won't connect to each other either.
Aside from this, everything else is working fine so far.
I don't know much about mods or coding, but since this mode restricts connections between utility poles, I'm wondering if the large pole wire connection issue is due to this mode.
Thank you :)

Thank you for the report, I will get this fixed.

Maybe the large pole is supplied by another mod? I do not see a reference to "large" in the Power Overload code.

This is the mod. I installed it because the "Power Overload" mod page said it supported it.
It actually applies maximum power consumption.
Thank you!

It's a bit complicated and difficult for beginners to enjoy both "Electric Grid" and "Power Overload" modes at the same time.
But the difficulty makes it all the more fun. XD
Thank you for creating such a fun mode.

Version 1.16.4 has been uploaded, adding support for the fixLargeElectricPole mod.

This is an interesting addition, especially with Power Overload, thank you for the suggestion.

When I connect the large pole to a transformer in "Power Overlaod" mode, electricity flows smoothly.
However, when I connect it to a transformer in this mode, the connection works, but no electricity flows. I just discovered this while playing :)
Thank you!

Thank you for reporting the issue. I will investigate.

I am not able to recreate the issue. Power flows as expected through the Large electric poles, the radar is operational.
