Hello! First of all, sorry—I have zero modding knowledge, so I have no idea how easy or absurd what I’m asking might be.
I’m not a fan of the fact that there are two versions of the recycling machine (sorry for nitpicking but the main issues is 2 modul slots), and I’d really like to know if it’s possible to improve that. Ideally, I’d love for the changes to be available as optional settings—like tick boxes—so players can choose what suits their gameplay best.
Make the early recycling machine use the Fulgora version, with 4 module slots and full speed. Then, when reaching Fulgora, the "Mine Fulgora Ruins" would only unlock the "scrap recycling recipe." This would be extremely helpful, because the main reason we want the recycling machine early on is for quality farming. At that point, we only have access to module quality 1 (and later on, quality 2), so the success chance is already very low. Having just 2 module slots turns the early recycler into more of a material shredder with a slight chance of better quality—unless additional mods are added to adjust this further, which kind of makes the 2-module limit unnecessary. I just don’t get why there’s such a harsh penalty on a building meant for quality farming, especially when the quality chances are so low to begin with.
The second ideea is a mod request (if possible)
Is it possible to add an early Foundry, even if it’s balanced similarly to the early recycler? Right now, there isn’t one because it requires lava (not on Navius)—but I use a mod that lets me craft lava from stone, so I don’t need to go all the way to Vulcanus. And there are many other Foundry related mods that makes me want to have Foundry before even reaching Vulcanus (including the fact that I don't need to rebuild most I have on Navius After I unlock Fondry on vulcanus)
