Changelog

Version: 0.4.2
Date: 2026-11-03
  Bugfixes:
    - A nearly full backpack destroyed dust: the brush cleared every tile in reach even when only part of its dust fitted, and counted the lost dust as swept. Now a tile is swept only if all of its dust fits.
Version: 0.4.1
Date: 2026-11-01
  Bugfixes:
    - Electronics (green circuits, inserters, labs) and Steam power could never be researched on the Moon: they unlock by smelting copper and iron plates, and there is no ore until later. Electronics now unlocks by sifting 10 lunar sand, and Steam power by smelting 10 lunar glass.
Version: 0.4.0
Date: 2026-11-01
  Features:
    - Mass driver pad: a silo that fires 1,000 kg of lunar dust or its products to Earth, sold at full price, with the sale announced in chat. It fires on its own once full; each launch uses one launch container (5 iron plates and 2 lunar glass).
  Changes:
    - The depot pays half price.
    - Dust and its products weigh 1 kg each and can be loaded into a rocket.
Version: 0.3.0
Date: 2026-11-01
  Features:
    - Sifter: 5 lunar dust into 2 lunar sand and 3 fines. Available from the start.
    - Lunar glass: 2 sand smelts into 1 glass in any furnace.
    - Magnetic separation (research): the magnetic separator turns 4 fines into iron ore, copper ore or stone, or 6 fines into coal, so the vanilla tech tree works from there.
    - Sintering (research): the sintering furnace fuses 1 sand and 1 fines into moonstone.
    - The depot buys sand (3 Cr), fines (1), glass (8) and moonstone (7) as well as dust.
    - Earth supplies sells stone furnaces and coal.
Version: 0.2.0
Date: 2026-11-01
  Features:
    - Earth supplies: a button on the top bar opens a catalogue of things the Moon can't make yet (solar panels, poles, plates, circuits, belts, inserters, chests, assemblers, labs), bought with the team's credits and delivered to your backpack. Every purchase is announced in chat.
    - Remote interface: buy() and add_credits() for scenarios, tests and admins.
Version: 0.1.3
Date: 2026-11-01
  Graphics:
    - The Moon has its own lighter grey ground: fine dust with small craters, pebbly swept regolith and rubbly crater rims, blended into each other with vanilla's soft edges.
  Changes:
    - The Moon is always in daylight.
Version: 0.1.2
Date: 2026-11-01
  Graphics:
    - The ground is grey, not tan: the tints now take the warmth out of the sand and landfill textures.
Version: 0.1.1
Date: 2026-11-01
  Features:
    - Alt+B or the new shortcut bar button puts the brush in your hand, and puts it away again.
    - New arrivals are told how to hold the brush.
  Graphics:
    - The brush has its own icon.
    - Dust is grey lunar sand, and swept ground is the darker regolith beneath, instead of lab floor and concrete.
Version: 0.1.0
Date: 2026-11-01
  Features:
    - Phase 0 prototype: a bounded 2048x2048 lunar map of dust tiles, craters and rock, with no ore, trees or enemies.
    - The brush sweeps dust tiles into lunar dust as you walk with it in hand; swept tiles become clean regolith.
    - Depots sell the dust they hold for credits, shown in the top bar with the share of the Moon swept.
    - Remote interface "dustline" with status() and sweep() for scenarios and tests.
