Mod should now load fine with space age on version 1.0.4 (for factorio 2.0) or 2.1.7 (for factorio 2.1). Let me know if this fixes your problem.

I am getting the same error in relation to a mod resource (not sure which mod yet, still trying to hunt that down): An error occured while compiling "tile:deepwater:probability" noise expression: Unknown variable: entity:platinum-ore:probability
edit: version 2.1.7
edit: It might be Corrundum

yeah now im getting the same error as the dude above, might have to turn off all modded ores till you can find a work around. great mod btw! im surprized someone didn't make this sooner!

Shoot sorry to hear that. There are probably too many modded ores for me to blacklist all of the ones that dont work. I'll make an update to make it so the mod won't do anything with any ores I haven't tested yet. Ores that don't use probability spawning in the ways that I expect will break the mod until I do so.

The newest version should fix your issue. The mod no longer tries to apply to all ores and uses a whitelist for now. Let me know if you get any similar errors, I will mark this as resolved otherwise.

Hi! Can confirm that now I am the one getting a crash haha. Had this mod installed on a 50 hour game. Got a crash when loading the game after the last mod update!

An error occured while compiling "tile:deepwater:probability" noise expression:
Unknown variable: entity:kr-rare-metal-ore:probability

(seems like a incompatibility with Krastorio, let me know If I can be of any help, thanks for your work).

Thats interesting because I tested the mod with krastorio, are you using any mods that affect the way rare metals generate?

Nope afaik, maybe it's the xyrc's K2SO Enhancements (Null's fork)? But welp, now that you say that, perhaps Spaced Out might touch those... Let's leave it at "yes" then.
In the ingame prototype (Factoriopedia), only Krastorio and xyrc's K2SO Enhancements appear on the top part (the former being overwritten by the later).
Do you want me to test anything else?

Let me know if the latest version fixes your issue. I had assumed that the mod would work with rare metals always so I had added it to the resource whitelist. I removed it now. I'll need to handle modded ores differently than vanilla ones in the future.

Yup! Can confirm that it's fixed for me now! Ty so much for your hard work!

Glad to hear it. I'll be implementing a solution sometime soon that should make the mod work for all modded ores.

Hi there, I think I got another crash related to this mod, now happening if trying to create a new game with lignumis installed: (sorry for reopening this thread, lmk if you'd rather have me open a new one from now on). Thanks for your work!

The mod ○🌐Lignumis (2.11.1) caused a non-recoverable error.
Please report this error to the mod author.

We can handle it here since it is related to planets anyways. Let me look into that. From a glance seems to be an issue with the way the other mod is generating the surface, I'll see if I can find a workaround.

Hi there! I now get to the main menu after the last update, but the game crashes when trying to load a game. This is the entire log (smaller than the last one huh)

An error occured while compiling "tile:deepwater:probability" noise expression:
Unknown variable: entity:iron-ore:probability

And I get this if trying to create a new game!

Sorry that last update was to fix an issue I was having with loading angelbob. I just put an update up for the issue you were having, let me know if it fixes it for you. (1.1.2 / 2.2.2 for 2.0 / 2.1).

Also, in my testing I found that with my mod enabled the resources added by that planet generate like crazy for some reason. I would recommend turning down the frequency of peat and gold patches if you decide to use both.

Damn, that was turbofast boss!
Can confirm that the game now loads, thank you so much!

Glad to hear it. I'll leave this as resolved then. I'm not sure why that planets resources generating in larger quantities when dry ores is enabled, I haven't seen that issue with any of the other planet mods I have tested.
