2.0 adds the new feature with the map pins that lets you choose the zoom level of the preview.
This lead me to wishing that the previews of the mining sites had the same ability. There are already a few buttons below their preview image, it would be a nice place to also add the zoom function from the map pins or something like that.
Currently the zoom is often so close that the preview is basically useless.

I like that idea, I can relate to that issue. I'll see how it can be implemented with the 2.0 mod API. Thanks for the suggestion!

Or if it is too complicated (no idea) I would at least suggest to change the current default to increase... decrease...(?) ...well further out so that you see a bit more around.
